The Commune Institute works to make its website, communication, and gatherings usable by people with a wide range of access needs.

Our commitments

We design this site to meet WCAG 2.2 AA: keyboard access, visible focus, sufficient contrast, text that reflows at 400% zoom, and support for reduced-motion settings.
Participants may request large print, captions, transcripts, quiet space, seating, dietary accommodation, or an alternate way to take part in any practice.
Access planning happens before a gathering begins, and access information is shared only with those who need it to provide support.
Any participant may decline a prompt and ask for another form of participation without explanation.
